The second piece of a new image series that deals with anxiety and confusion. It’s about all those different voices inside our head that distract us from where we are, and where we’re going.

I’ve chosen this as the start of a new image series that deals with anxiety and confusion. It’s about all those different voices inside our head that distract us from where we are, and where we’re going.
One thing that fascinates me is how the “Art Machine” understands what things look like but it doesn’t understand what the images mean. It doesn’t understand metaphor or surrealism. I’m hoping to get some interesting images exploring confusion and dreams.

I actually did see my shadow on the moon this morning. CAT had to go into the office today so she had to get up at the ungodly hour of five AM to get there by 8:30. I asked her to wake me up too because I heard their would be a Lunar Eclipse. We both walked over to our bay window several times over the next hour watching the shadow of the Earth cross the Moon and eventually envelop it. That was us – all of us – blocking the sun from the moon.
I created this image with the new updated version four of Midjourney AI which just came out a few days ago. Some of the other image variations incorporated actual strong “shadows on the moon” but this one was the most dramatic image, so I went with this.
Here’s another variation that came out pretty good as well.
This was my first attempt with version 4 of Midjourney. I didn’t really play with it much. It’s supposed to be more “coherent” which will probably translate to “more realistic” which may or may not be better. It all really depends on what you like and what you’re trying to do. Version 3 is crazy and funky which I like, so we’ll see…
